reply within two working days. For bugs, add your iPhone model, iOS version and what you did right before it happened.
- How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
- Sign in with the same Apple ID, then in Plankly open Settings (the gear on the home screen) → Restore purchases, or tap Restore on any Pro screen.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Plankly Pro, or in Plankly: Settings → Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period or trial ends; Pro stays active until then.
- How do I get a refund?
- Refunds are processed by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- How exact are the sizes from a photo?
- A photo gives estimates: Plankly marks them “≈” until you change them. Measure your space, set the width, height and depth on the plan — the parts, cut list and shopping list are recalculated by the app, not guessed by AI.
- Inches or centimeters?
- Both, honestly. Choose at first launch or later in Settings → Units. Sizes are shown to 1/16″ or to half a millimeter. Store sizes are a separate setting — Settings → Store sizes: US lumber (2x4, 4×8 ft sheets) or European (18 × 95 mm, 2500 × 1250 mm sheets).
- What is kerf, and why does the cut list care?
- Kerf is the width of your saw blade — the wood that turns into sawdust on every cut. Plankly leaves it between parts so the last part isn’t short. The default is 1/8″ (3 mm); set yours in Settings → Saw kerf.
- How do I see it in my room?
- On a plan, tap “In your room”. Your iPhone places the piece at its real size; walk around it before you cut. It needs an iPhone with ARKit — any iPhone that runs Plankly.
- Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
- Your projects and their photos are stored only on your iPhone. Touch and hold a project on the home screen to delete it; deleting the app deletes everything. Photos and ideas you turn into plans are not kept on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for analytics and crash reports.
